Beginning his Professional Wrestling career on September 20th 2010, Stephen O'Connor had his beginnings on the Gold Coast as part of Impact Pro Wrestling Australia. Training under Peter Ball and Ashe, Magnus would perform on IPW shows, showing the public that he wanted to make an impact on the Queensland Wrestling scene. Magnus would have worthy matchups with RIP, Poison and 'Slammin' Sam Richards, with whom Magnus would cross paths with over the years. Wanting more, Magnus decides to depart IPW. Breaking into the interstate scene, he would join National Championship Pro Wrestling (NCPW) in his original hometown of Port Macquarie in New South Wales in May 2012. Here, Magnus would spend the majority of his career until the federation's closure in November 2023.
In Queensland, he would venture from federation to federation, honing his craft and wrestling for various promotions. These include Pro Wrestling Alliance Queensland (PWAQ), the original United Pro Wrestling, High Impact Wrestling, Brisbane City Wrestling (later Legends Valley Wrestling), and Venom Pro Wrestling.
Health problems and personal problems would plague a lot of Magnus' career which saw him take time off on three occasions, with one point entering into retirement. After the terrible period of the 2020 COVID pandemic, Magnus set out to set things straight and improve his life for the better.
Joining Brisbane Fitness Empire in November 2020, Magnus begins his journey into Martial Arts. On Thursday 10th July 2021, Magnus joins The Ironfist Gym. Learning Muay Thai, Freestyle Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, Magnus would end up shedding 50kg (110lbs) and getting into tremendous shape. Now determined to show the Queensland Wrestling Scene, Magnus joins Nightfall Wrestling Alliance to show off his new skills. Here, Magnus would see a resurgence in his career, taking on all comers, and battling new challengers. Magnus would eventually enter into a heated rivalry with possibly his greatest rival yet, in the form of the Empress of the Sky, Harper Sky, who has aligned herself with Johnny Hardwood and Rhys Razelle (formerly Leigh Whinstone), two wrestlers from Magnus' past.
Outside of his professional wrestling ventures, Magnus also participates in competitions and events involving his mixed martial arts skills. He is now a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion of Grappling Industries, having won one gold medal and one bronze medal.
